Insulation Revolution: Powering Energy-Efficient UK Homes

Home insulation refers to the installation of various materials and techniques to reduce heat loss or gain within a house, creating a more thermally efficient living environment. It involves adding insulation materials to different areas of a home, such as the walls, roof, floors, and windows, to minimise the transfer of heat between the interior and exterior.

Proper home insulation offers several benefits. It helps maintain a comfortable indoor temperature throughout the year, reducing the need for excessive heating or cooling. This, in turn, leads to energy savings and lower utility bills. Insulation also plays a crucial role in soundproofing, reducing noise transmission from outside or between rooms.

In the UK, where weather conditions can vary significantly, effective home insulation is particularly important. Common insulation materials used in the UK include mineral wool, cellulose, foam boards, and reflective foil. These materials are installed according to the specific requirements of each area to provide optimal thermal performance.

Investing in home insulation not only improves the comfort and energy efficiency of a home but also contributes to reducing carbon emissions and environmental impact. It is an essential step towards creating sustainable and eco-friendly living spaces in the UK.

All of our energy efficiency measures are installed completley free of charge to the customer. The ECO4 scheme is fully government funded.

The more energy-efficient your home is, the less energy you use. This means you will save money on your energy bills while reducing your carbon footprint and helping to reduce the impact on the environment.

Yes, the Eco grant has no bearing over the energy supplier that you are using. It is completely independent.

Internal Wall Insulation is the insulating of the internal surface of external (heat losing) walls. This work is done by fitting a rigid insulation board to the wall ensuring all heat stays within the building.

Boiler upgrades are available, if your home meets the eligibility criteria.
